The Deputy Minister of Agric, William Quaitoo, has reigned, sources say. This comes days after his ethnocentric comments against northeners raised eyebrows from a section of the public, including people from his own political party.
According to a post from Eugene Arhin, the Minister turned in his resignation this afternoon to the president.
“The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, this evening accepted the resignation from office of the Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Hon. William Quaitoo, MP, which takes immediate effect. The President wished him the very best in his future endeavours,” he posted.
