Meet the contestants of Ghana’s Most Beautiful Season IX

Over 8 seasons,Tv3 has helped to promote tourism and culture in Ghana while educating the world about the rich beautiful Ghanaian culture. This year,after a rigorous and intensive audition, here are the 1o young,beautiful,intelligent and smart ladies who proved themselves worth to be in the reality house the season 9.

This is a reality show that promotes Ghana’s national unity amongst the unique regions, its people, their culture and values of Ghana through the eyes of ten (10) beautiful women from the various regions.

Week by week, these beautiful, talented women must show the nation something new from their region and after three (3) months, the most beautiful in knowledge, moral values and good upbringing in the ways of her people is crowned Ghana’s Most Beautiful.

EASTERN REGION- AFARIWA
Afariwa

I respond to the name Angela Adjoa Afariwa Dawson but my stage name in this competition is AFARIWA.
I am 24years old and I am the Eastern Regional representative of this year’s Ghana’s Most Beautiful.
I am a proud graduate of the University of Professional Studies with honours in Bachelor of Science in Marketing.

As a young lady I have seen a lot of cultural displays, experienced diverse dynamism of hospitality being shown to the wonderful people of Ghana and even foreigners.

All over, Ghana has been blessed with historical relics, beautiful land scapes and natural resources. It is for this reason that I Afariwa; wants to stand as a brands ambassador to promote tourism in every way possible.

I will be excited to realize this dream of wearing the crown in order to impact my society and promote Ghana on the international world of tourism.

My hobbies are; cooking, swimming, making new friends and sharing ideas

CENTRAL REGION-ESI

Vera Oheneba Safaoh is my name. My stage name is ESI on the GMB platform.

I am 22 years and I represent the Central Region. My project is geared towards reducing the high incidence of teenage pregnancies in the Central Region.

This task is channeled through the millennium development goal 3 which seeks to achieve gender equality. With agreement and a massive campaign against teenage pregnancies, I believe the girl child would be able to reach higher academic levels.

I am graduating from the premier University, the University of Ghana Legon with Bachelor of Art in Economies and Information Studies.

Being crowned Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2015 will be a dream come true.

WESTERN REGION- ARABAARABA

I am Sabina Hayford Maame Araba Baduwaa Offah. I am 20 years of age and from Mpohor Wassa in the Western region of Ghana.

I’m also a student of University for Development Studies(Wa Campus) pursuing a degree program in BSc. Development Management.

I am from a family of six, the only girl and the first child.

My purpose for being part of this year’s Ghana’s Most Beautiful is to help children with special needs and children in deprived areas. I believe that a child with a special need has the ability to live life to its fullest capability not because they are privileged but because it’s their human right. Children in deprived areas should also be loved because it is not their fault they live or are at where they are. It could be you or I.

I like reading and dancing. I also love to learn and love entertainment and love to have fun as well.

My Stage name for Ghana’s Most Beautiful is ARABA. Thank you.

BRONG-AHAFO REGION- AMA
AMA

Ama Adomah Fauzieh is my name. My stage name however is AMA in this year’s Ghana’s Most Beautiful contest.

I am 24 years of age and very proud to represent the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana.

I am a graduate of the University of Ghana Legon, where I studied for a degree in History and English.

I have a passion in me. It is a burning desire to help the people of my region get access to quality health care. Due to this, I am embarking on a project that seeks to educate the people on “the need of registering for the National Health Insurance Scheme” so that the young and aged would have access to quality health care in my region.

This initiative would go a long way to combat the system of quackery in my region.

I am very outgoing. Hence, I love to meet new people and have positive interactions with them. I also love to cook, go on excursions, read novels as well as teaching people new things.

If I am given the honour of being crowned Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2015, I would be very pleased, happy and extremely humbled because it is an opportunity which I believe comes once in a lifetime.

It would influence my life in a positive and great way and create the biggest platform for me to help the people of the Brong Ahafo Region and Ghana at large. Thank you.

GREATER ACCRA- KAI
KAI
Naa Kai Tettey is my name but KAI is my stage name.

I am 21 years of age and a student of Accra Polytechnic pursuing fashion design and textiles.

My project is on sanitation in relation to domestic waste separation. I will help Ghana achieve millennium development goal seven (7) if I win GMB 2015.

I swim, sing and cook at my leisure hour. Thanks.

ASHANTI REGION- SIKA
SIKA
SIKA is the adopted name for Ghana’s Most Beautiful Season IX.

Maame Akosua Ayiwa Sika is my name, a 20 year old lady representing the Ashanti Region

Currently I am a student of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology reading Natural Resources Management.

I seek to tackle a pressing issue.Ghana as a whole is been faced with, sanitation and conservation of our wetlands.

On the day I will be announced as Ghana’s Most Beautiful Season IX winner, the feeling will be overwhelming. I know that I will not be able to control my tears of joy.

I love sports, music, writing and dancing.

VOLTA REGION- FAFA
FAFA
I am a proud daughter of Volta Region of Ghana. I am passionate about empowering girls through education. To ensure this, I plan to embark on the project, GIRL CHILD EDUCATION; KEEPING THE GIRL IN THE CLASSROOM.

My name is Melody Fafa Bossman and I go by the name FAFA in this competition. I am a 20 year old level 300 student of the University of Ghana, Legon pursuing Psychology and philosophy.

Winning Ghana’s Most Beautiful Season IX would not only bring me joy and fulfillment in achieving such a feat but also a pride in knowing that, as I let my light shine, I unconsciously or consciously give others the permission to do so.

I’m a lover of good music, I love to have a good laugh, I write and I love to lend a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on whenever I can.

NORTHERN REGION- ISHA

My name is Ayesha Iddrisu Mahama and my stage name is ISHA and I am representing the Northern Region of Ghana.

I am 22years of age and a student of Kings University College and reading Human Resource Management.

My project is to create and promote GOOD GIRL CHILD EDUCATION in the northern part of Ghana, not the northern region alone but Ghana at large.

If I am crowned Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2015 I will be very grateful and excited the favour of the Lord has been seen in me which is going to help me make my dream a reality.

UPPER WEST REGION- NIMA
NIMA

Nimatu Hadom Ibrahim is my name. My stage name on Ghana’s Most Beautiful is NIMA.

I am twenty years of age and a product of Majesty Senior High School. I’m a pround daughter of Zini Gbueku district in the Upper East Region of Ghana.

Disability they say is definately not inability, thus to be disabled does not mean one does not have the ability to do work, for that reason, I have had the opportunity to meet disabled people and it touches my heart to help them.

When crowned Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2015, I will be excited to return the crown to the Upper East Region to help support and empower the disabled in the Sissala West District and Ghana at large.

I love to travel, I love to cook and I love to help the disable.

UPPER EAST REGION- AZURE
AZURE

Adongo Patience Azure is my name and my stage name is AZURE representing the Upper East Region in Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2015.

I am 22 years of age and a graduate teacher from St. John Bosco’s College of Education, Navrongo in the Upper East Region.

I grew up witnessing a very heartbreaking cultural practice in my region where children who are born with deformity or a tragic event coinciding with their birth are perceived to be evil and wicked. This is known as ‘the spirit child killing’, a form of cultural practice.

I desire to undertake a project geared towards saving innocent children who undergo this inhuman treatment due to ignorance.

I will be the happiest person if I am crowned the next Ghana’s Most Beautiful because my dreams will be fulfilled.

My hobbies are cooking, dancing and reading.
