The management of Ruftown Records, the label that managed late dancehall artiste, Ebony Reigns, say they are not interested in releasing the unreleased songs of the artiste again.
In a press release sighted on the Facebook wall of the CEO, Ricky Nana Agyemang also known as Bullet, the management said all the songs that were written by the late sognstress are now owned by her father.
Bullet had earlier on posted on his Facebook account that greed was killing musicians and people in the business. Many people reacted to the post and suggested that he was reffering to Ebony’s father who had earlier said on radio that Bullet gave him only GHC2,000 from the proceeds of the concert that was organised in honour of the songstress.
Some few hours later, Bullet and his management released a statement saying they are no longer in charge of releasing her unreleased songs. They also said any further enegagement regarding the late artiste’s works should be channeled through her father.
He also added a post that suggested that Ebony’s father has received so much money from her daughter’s toil but was not still satisfied.
